Your department  - Nordic Branch

The Nordic Branch office is based in Oslo and we are represented in 5 countries, and manages 34 contracts for some of Vanderlande¿s largest customers within Airports, Warehouse and Post&Parcel. About the role

We are looking for a skilled HR manager to oversee all aspects of Human Resources practices and processes.  You will support business needs and ensure the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives.

The goal is to promote corporate values and enable business success through job design, recruitment, performance management, training & development, employment cycle changes, talent management, close cooperation with the unions and facilities management services.

The role is a part of the Nordic Branch Management team and will also be included in the European HR forums at the Vanderlande HQ, working with HR topics of importance for the group.

We are searching for an energetic professional who wants to be a part in continuing building and developing the Nordic Branch.


  • Responsible for Human Resource Management in the broadest sense of the word.

  • Ensuring that the business is legally compliant in all its employment activities

  • Giving new starters a positive and professional perception of the company through a professional on boarding program

  • Operationalising, integrating and delivering HR processes, and change management

  • Driving HR excellence and best practise at every opportunity; nurture a positive working environment

  • In charge of all recruitment, selection and induction activity for both permanent and temporary staff

  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance

  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs

  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics and be a provocative sparring partner to management.

  • Executing the HR strategy; People first

  • Implementing talent acquisition strategies

  • Reporting to management (statistics on sick leave, people turnover, employee survey’s, HR initiatives in the region)

  • Personnel Handbook - keep updated

  • Salary and payments – full process

  • Manage request within Altinn

  • Key user in the HR system (Workday)

  • Union - work close with local union.

 Desired Profile:

  • Bachelor degree or higher in Human Resource Management or related field

  • Proven working experience within HR

  • Demonstrable experience with HR metrics

  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases

  • Ability to translate the People strategy to local implementation

  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills

  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company (Nordic & Vanderlande HQ Netherlands)

  • In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices

  • People oriented and results driven

  • Pro-active attitude with hands on mentality

  • ·Fluency in one of the Nordic languages is a requirement
